The Bard's Song - The Hobbit is off of the album Somewhere Far Beyond. It's based on J. R. R. Tolkien's fantasy novel The Hobbit. This song is told by Bilbo Baggins who talks about his journey and the quest to slay Smaug, a dragon that occupies the Lonely Mountain. Bilbo and the dwarfs that travel with him are lead by Gollum. The song goes on to mention the dying dragon, trolls that the adventuring group encounters, Bilbo's obsession with gold, and Thorin's reclaimed throne under the mountain.
