This is one of my favorite Chelsea Grin songs, not only sound-wise but in terms of meaning. This song is about being yourself, doing what you wanna do in life, and never living up to people's standards. Don't worry about whether or not society approves of you, it's your life so make YOURSELF happy. "I'm just as sick as you believe" could mean one of two things, the way I see it. One, it could mean that calling them sick and disturbed is pointless because they know that they are, and embrace it. There's no reason to make fun of something or mock something that they try to be. Or it could mean that they are only as sick as people tell themselves, that they really aren't but if that's what people wanna believe then they'll let them. It means that you can make fun of us, hurt our feelings, push us around, and make us bleed. But you will never take our pride, you will never take who we are. "This is my f***ing dream," so leave me alone.
