Owl City: The Technicolor Phase Meaning
The Technicolor Phase Lyrics
I am the red in the rose, the flowers
On the blankets on your bedroom floor.
And I am the gray in the ghost that hides
With your clothes behind your closet door.
I am the green in the grass that bends back

The song mostly talks about different colors and stuff. It might just mean that the singer is trying to remember someone through those colors or distracting himself because he misses that person.
-
I believe the song is about how the person singing is trying to cheer up his friend/girlfriend. Perhaps she is depressed, or feels sad. The lyrics "I'll be there . . . Wherever you are" is meant to me to mean that he'll always be there for her, in mind and heart, as well as being present.

In my interpretatin of this song i think it is supposed to be looked at as god is singing it. Because he is describing were he is and telling us he will be with us where ever we are. Plus the other line "if you cut me i suppose i would bleed the colors of the evening stars" is telling us than when we sin its like we are cuting him appart. Thats how i see this song

As much as I don't understand this song, I think represents two people that are in love. And since they are in love they are always in each others hearts and thought, meaning I will be with you Where ever you are

This song is about dreams, imagination and fantasy. How it's all around us, and that we can go anywhere we wish, at any time we want.
Adam (songwriter and performer) sings like he is dreams and imagination, like dreams and imagination is a small creature or ghost, who can take your hand and fly you anywhere you wish.
It is everything ("I am the red in the rose, the flowers on the blanket on your bedroom floor" etc.), there is a dream in everything, if you just have the imagination. It is everywhere, no mater where you are ("You can go anywhere you wish cause I'll be there, wherever you are")
