I love that song it makes more fun to do at the beach and so I want to be like fun song on the beach then I can write about the beach then me and Jonas brothers can do that. This song is about an idealized tropical location, not a real one. There is no such actual place "off the Florida Keys" as "Kokomo"; the real "Kokomo", despite the tropical-sounding name is, ironically, in central Indiana.
For the life of me, the bridge supposedly about the "Monserrat mystique" has always sounded like, "Be sure not to make / The Monserrat mistake," which would be appropriate as there was little there before the volcanic eruption and even less since.
If you need a wewsite to explain to you how a couple at sea could try to "defy a little gravity," then I feel sorry for you.
