(Everything I Do) I Do It For You Lyrics
What you mean to me
Search your heart - search your soul
And when you find me there you'll search no more
Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for
You know it's...

The pause between words keeps you not striving so hard on the words meaning piano is soothing also to relate words aren't everything it's part of the song with intent of feelings.

This song played at exactly 3:33 pm on christmas day 25 th december 2017 .Eeither the radio show people knew 333 stands for Jesus connection or its down right synchronicity .I wasnt even thinking of Jesus ...I was looking at plants and just got a bottle of red wine ..when I paid attention to the song lyrics ....it would be what Jesus would express to a mortal insignificant humans like me n others ...that following evening I actually mindfully honored his spirit not just party !!

This song actually does not have a divine meaning to it, as Bryan Adams is an atheist and what a lot of people forget nowadays is that the song was written for the 1991 movie Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves with Kevin Costner, rather than being a song which Adams wrote relating to his own beliefs.
The song is written and sung in the first person, implying that Robin Hood is singing it to Lady Marianne expressing his feelings towards her, in an attempt to win her back; as well as the power and motivation his love for her brings to him in order to fight and free her from evil.
The song is the love theme of the movie, for which the melody was originally composed by the late Michael Kamen and an instrumental version of it is used in the movie (in the scene when Lady Marianne leaves the Forest from Robin).
What is great about this song is that following its release, anybody who has really been in love can draw a parallel to their own experience; which magnified the success of the song on a global scale. -
(From Moonchild)
I don't think this song is about Jesus. This song only speaks of human love but not God's love. See lyrics:
"Oh, you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it, there's nothin' I want more
Yeah, I would fight for you, I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you, yeah I'd die for you"
God'd love is not masochistic love, God's love don't lie and does nothing wrong.
Maybe the song is nice and pleasing to the ear, but as a whole it does not tell about Jesus really. So try to check the lyrics and understand the music first before coming into conclusion. If you want to hear songs about Jesus, try to check these songs and be blessed.

My brother and I cannot listen to this song as it brings us to tears because it reminds us so much of our sister Penny who was recently diagnosed with schizophrenia.
There was always something a bit "off" with her when we were growing up, but we never knew she was so deeply disturbed and it esclilated into delusions and hallucinations where she ultimately began to believe that Bryan Adams wrote this song for her.
It all began when she started to believe that a particular T.V. show was being written and or produced by by someone speaking directly to her. It actually began before that in believing that certain online communities and blogs were directly speaking to her.
We had to have an intervention when
she began to "self-medicate" to "quiet the voices" by drinking herself into oblivion. Finally, she confided in me and told me that she believed that Bryan Adams had been completely and intimately involved in her life and the part where he sings, "walk the wire for you" meant that he was sending her messages through various media outlets and that this proved that everything he did was for her. She said that when she first began to believe that someone intimately knew her was when someone said she loved outter space because she deeply did since forever...we used to call her sailor moon. She just knew deep inside her heart that this one person knew her like no other but she said she racked her brain trying to figure it out.
I won't get into all the particulars but the elaborate story she had created in her head along with lethal concoctions of daily wine, it became apparent she had lost it.
The breaking point came when she said that satellites were watching her every move, that the television not only was talking to her but could see her too and that even some character in some T.V. show was supposed to be about her and Bryan Adams.
We deepy are concerned about her mental health, my brother and I, and hope you all keep her in your paryers and if you know someone in such a state, help them out. Schizophrenia is a devastating disorder to have to deal with as it forces those who care about the sufferer to clarify and provide reality checks to the individual delusions.
For instance, when she went into some drunken rant about Bryan Adams, my brother had to walk her back through to reality by telling her the truth of the situation. It was almost like I could see a glimmer of hope in her eyes that she was finally closer to the truth, but it soon faded as she folded her knees up to her chest and began to rock back and forth mumbling strange phrases such as, Bryan Adams has been following me which inspires him into some strange force-field of creative energy flow which he has left little bread-crumbs for her to find that confirms he loves her. There really is no hope, only heavy medication, padded rooms, and self-denial.
Hope this helps! -
Lol yes love like this can exist between two mortals no doubt. It's just rare that the love stays that strong, but it can. People that love me always love me like this song, i feel very fortunate ha ha no really it's rare just depends on the person were talkin about here! Some people are just hard to stay away from and just have that one little thing about them you just can't put your finger on but your drawn to them
-
or, its just about love between two people, pure love that's not altered by time or other people's opinions, a love so deep that it can't be touched by jealousy or petty argument. Maybe it's the romantic in me, but i think a love like that can exist between mortals, it isn't just reserved for God or Jesus. If it wasn't possible, why even bother? Marriage would be like a slap in the face "You think that is love? bah, it doesn't even compare to my love"
-
when you look deep into this song you'll see that it's a song about Jesus Christ, that everything he did was for us, and that he will do everything for us no matter how painful or hard it can be he'll do it in exchange for nothing. just out of pure love and that if you just open your heart to him you'll see how he truly loves us and you'll find everything that you'll need. you just have to trust him to guide you wherever you go ;)
