Red: Not Alone Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Not Alone Lyrics
You're lost and so afraid
Where is the hope in a world so cold
Looking for a distant light
Someone who could save a life
You're living in fear that no one will hear your cries
Can you save me now
I am with you
I will...

I feel like it's about someone who is going through some things and God finds them and helps them and shows them that they are not alone.
I am going through a lot so this song has really helped me so that's why I think this...
My great Grandma recently passed so I wanna thank Red because they are really helping me through this tough time. Thank you. -
I honestly don't believe it's about God helping a person who's alone. I think it's about a girl who's always sad and lonely, with nobody to help her. Then a guy sees her, starts dating her,and comforts her everytime she is feeling like that,Which is a lot of times.

I myself along with close friends are the only ones out of a few who know the true meaning behind this song. You see...he wrote it for me a few years ago to help sav3 my life. I had sent a message and told him how I had planned to end my life and the reasons behind it. My own father had told me he didn't love me. My mom had left and I was just in a bad place.. but any who the song is talking of the troubles I went through and god helping me over come them

This interpretation examines a man who battling depression and feels there is only one way out of it...
We see a man sitting by himself. He is fighting a battle alone...and he feels like he is losing. There is no hope in sight, no end to the pain he is suffering, and there is only one logical choice he sees...to let go of it all.
Suddenly we see another man, he's much older and more experienced. He enters the room. The older man notices the younger man sitting by himself. Instantly,he knows what the younger man is going through. This man has also fought the same battle, but not alone. He walks up to the younger man, picks him up, and supports him through his fight.
Still, the younger man wants to let go...his world is shattered. It's cold and bleak. There is no end to the pain...no light at the end of the tunnel. The younger man tries to let go, but he is caught by the older man. The older man looks at the younger man, he can tell he is lost and afraid. He tells him, "I am with you, I will carry you through it all."
The younger man understands he is not alone and that the old man will not let him go. He comes to the realization that the older man is his only hope through his fight. -
this is saying that God is with us always. he will be there all the time. "you're lost and so afraid". when we are Lost, and living in fear He will be with us always. He is the distant light that can save a life.He is with us always.

I believe this song is telling us that we are not alone, and when we are in a mess God is with us.He will never leave us."I am with you I will carry you through it all". I am glad God is always with us even when we sin. there is an example in the bible. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God he through them out of the garden or Eden, but he never left them alone to die. He was with them even though they eat the friut off the tree of good and evil.He will never leave you

I believe this song is talking about God speaking to us saying that anywhere we are, He is with us. When we struggle with things in this life, he will pick us up and help us. He knows who we are and what we are feeling, and even when we are going through a hard time. He is our only hope because He sent His only son Jesus to die for us so we can have hope. When the song says- Look up and see that love has a face, it's talking about Jesus. In the verses in the song I think it is talking about a man who is sick of this world and needs Gods help. And in the end God says that he isn't alone. This is my interpretation.
