Skid Row: 18 and Life Meaning
Song Released: 1989
18 and Life Lyrics
He had a heart of stone.
Lived 9 to 5 and worked
his fingers to the bone.
Just barely got out of school,
came from the edge of town.
Fought like a switchblade
so no one could take him down.
He had no money, oooh no...

I know this song as one of the most important things that I learnt to understand in my life when finding the right path in life that if you sway of to wrong road its final a life journey is final and the song represents Ricky making his decision to shoot is gun at a man in the street, making his life end. And also Ricky's life ends there too with a life sentence at the age of eighteen. Eighteen and life. I watched the video after months of listening to the album and was impressed only by Sebastian Bachs long hair in the video, but listening to it on my head phones so many times it was very educational when I needed something to keep me on the right path.
