Chevelle: Bend the Bracket Meaning
Bend the Bracket Lyrics
His collar's pulled, begin to be aware
It's on, that he needs to focus
Beyond that man, he brings a world of pain
Cause
[Chorus]
The war is on, too weak to move
Call it off, sorry refused
So we bend the bracket
Shove it...

Coming from an ex heroin user I might just see what I've experienced but it all fits perfectly. It's about opiates and the struggle to kick. Every line fits that theory completely. Some lyrics aren't so evident to someone who has not been through it but again maybe I'm bias. Love to hear someone's take on this. I'll be happy to interpret any line.
Thanks. Hope you find your answers. -
This song is about heroin/Opiet addiction. When you do those drugs, you can't move sometimes; "the war is on, too weak.. To move"
And "boredoms captured another fool.. Shredding him to bits" -
