This song is about love, and how when you've been with someone for so long, after a while you start to get redundant with what you say. Saying "I love you" all the time to someone you love begins to lose meaning after a while, and Billie Joe is just saying that he's "lost for words" -- he loves his wife so much, he feels like "I love you" isn't enough
