Maroon 5: Unkiss Me Meaning
Unkiss Me Lyrics
Don't protect me
You can tell me, I can handle it
Stop pretending, 'cause we're going down
If you let go, then just let go
It's disrespectful how you've handled this
Never ending, kinda run around
I lie to my heart 'cause...
-
I agree with the 4/18 interpretation

It feels like the girl doesn't love the guy anymore or she is uncertain of the relationship, but she is still hanging around trying to "protect" him.
The guy wants the girl to be straight about it and treat him as a man with respect instead of "protecting" him by not ending it. The way that she handled it makes him slightly frustrated, and he wishes to undo the memory that the girl did in order to "protect" his feelings. He is a grown adult not a kid. -
she is confused with her relotionship because seems like, her boyfriend doesnt treat her like a girlfriend. she doesnt know anymore about her boyfriend, and she isnt comfortable with her relationship. so she just want some explanation, if its over then its over, if its not then fix!
