Pendulum: The Other Side Meaning
The Other Side Lyrics
Come with us through the gates of hell,
Where we'll drag you from where you are
to where you belong.
Come on down to the other side,
Come with us through the gates of hell,
Where we'll drag you from where...

I absolutely love the beat of this song, it's probably my favorite song on the album.
Unfortunately, this song also seems to frequently cause major waves of depression when I listen to it.
I'm very sensitive to how music affects me, when it makes me happy/sad/angry/excited etc. etc.
But this song is different. It's not just an emotion I feel, it's a deep, deep heartfelt absolute low, so low that I start thinking thoughts that are very uncharacteristic for me.
I'm not saying this as a knock against the song, or the band as I absolutely love both. Sometimes I find myself still listening to this song, even though I know it's probably not good for me. -
It's from the perspective of the Collective in TribeTwelve.
