Puscifer: Monsoons Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Monsoons Lyrics
-
As literally as it may be interpreted, I feel it's about being completely inundated in emotion and then evolving and moving on from it as a stronger, better person. Dry, stagnant heat and brittle ground in need of greening could symbolize the mundane day to day existence of living casually and taking things for granted. The grieving process, (or the indulging of any intense emotion) is an extremely critical step along the path to acceptance, perhaps even forgiveness, and then ultimately, peace. Without such an intense release that kind of emotional response renders, you can never bring yourself to truly accept things and move on from them.

This song is literally talking about monsoons. They give life and add "color" to our world as in the places where there are monsoons. In some countries it does not rain hardly at all except for the rain season when the monsoons come through. The farmers are dependent on these monsoons to grow crops so this song is about the power and beauty of actual monsoons
