   I think there's something to be said for different layers of meaning in this song. Obviously, the surface talks about, "Hey, I like sex and I'm not ashamed to say so." But there's also the possibility of a deeper layer that says, "I like myself, even if you don't. I'm not ashamed to be what I am. I'm not trying to be someone else, just me. Don't try to force me into a mold. I'm unique." She's using one of the more unusual and yet well-known fetishes to make a statement that even if a person is different from the norm, that's okay.

   Rihanna tweeted that s&m stop for scandals and media..which makes sense if you watch the video. Her dress is made out of newspaper clippings like "daddy issues?" and others like that. She went through a lot with the press and rumors and I think that is what s&m is about.

   This song it's very good for the shock effect it has. The ambiguous message in this it's perfect, yet still the raw lyrics with the quite explicit lack of elegant innuendo's for the Social and Media and Sadomasoquism turns this song into a very, very politically incorrect song either way even when the rhythm it's amazing and the powerful electronic effects flips everything right out the window and makes you forget what's even the meaning of this, and blast this as loud as you can.

   The song is about the abuse of media. Especially the sexual aspect of it. The media highlight celebrities life's in the negative. And the projections scene is also saying all the bullsh*t the media shows you. Not that she is illuminati which if you still believe that kill yourself chase your doing nothing but being brainwashed by false talk.
