   This might have something to do with me being an Iraq War veteran, but I see it as an anti-war song. "I did my time and I want out." The character is referring that he did his required time, either in Iraq, or in the military as a whole and wants out. "Go drill your deserts, go fill your graves" Pretty self explanatory. "Then fill your mouth with all the money you will save." While on deployment, troops make a lot more than back in the states. It's still not a lot, but compared to state-side, it's a small fortune. "I'm done! It has begun, I'm not the only one." The character is at his breaking point, he's fed up with the system as a whole. However, his psyche has been corrupted by what he has seen and done. There are others just like him. The chorus of the song refers to the overall corruption and death of a generation as a result of this war. "Fake anti-fascist lie." The lie based off of the poor intelligence that caused us to invade in the first place. "I've tried to tell you, but your purple hearts are giving out." The part about the purple hearts seems to have more than one meaning. The purple heart is a medal that the U.S. military members receive for being wounded in combat. Purple heart could also mean a literal heart that is in poor health. "Can't stop the killing idea. If it's hunting season. Is this what you want?" Now the character is out of the combat zone, back state-side, but all he has is a messed up psyche. Once the "kill switch" has been turned on, it doesn't turned off. All he has is pent up stress, homicidal and suicidal tendencies with a society that does not care or even blames him as part of the problem. Hence the whole term "Psychosocial."

   I think that part is talking about how America goes into other countries in the middle east where there are deserts and drill oil. "Then fill your mouth with all the money you will save". And about how much money they make out of stealing.

   First off, the actual lyrics do say Rain not reign. Corey Taylor himself said the song is about the government AND the military. When it says "And the rain will kill us all, we throw ourselves against the wall" he's talking about judgement day, and how then, everyone will know the truth about everyone, but at the same time everyone will have their backs to the wall because they don't want the truth about themselves to be revealed. "No one else can see the preservation of the martyr in me" first off martyr is someone who is killed due to religious beliefs. PRESERVATION OF THE MARTYR. He is talking about how everyone thinks about how "evil" he is, but nobody can tell that he isn't being judgmental to christians and people of other religions, because all they see is the bad in him, so while they're are treating him as a martyr, they aren't realizing he is controlling himself from doing the same to them, hence the name of the song... Not about how evil they are and how god is going to find them and destroy them, you idiotic bigot. Don't be such a scrub.

   "The preservation of the Martyr in me" I'm going to say that it means, whoever the person it's relating to is saying they could go about things in life in a way that is brutal and chaotic, instead of just putting their beliefs about the truth into a very potent song, and taking the high road vs acting in a way that corrupt people do to benefit themselves and not having to atone for the violence used on people. This song can be interrupted in many ways, it's has subliminal lyrics.

   This song is am indictment of the secret societies that run the world. Most people fail to realize that once you hit a certain level of fame, especially in the music industry,that you are forced to bend the knee to satanists. He's calling them out and warning them that if they continue there will be a bloody revolution and total catastrophe. Realize that our government is the only thing insulating us from totalitarianism at this point, which is why these secret societies attack our government in Hollywood and other entertainment avenues. They want us to beg for a revolution that secures them more power.

   A helluva song by SLIPKNOT that I do agree with the many interpretations about a Soldier Of War. That's most likely a Christian, but he could also be a Muslim or even a Jewish Soldier that served his time and his country in the middle east wars to the point that he had enough of the damage done to him, while serving and fighting there. And now HE WANTS OUT, after awaking to realize the fact it was all for the International Zionists Unforgotten endgame dream. That went into a madness of revenge at any cost throughout the years forwanting to rebuild Their lost dream, since Their Temple was destroyed a couple of thousand years ago. With which they have been turning ''psychosocial'' personality disorders in all of us with Their insane madness of many sorts, eversince. Whereby Martyrs died, that were created and made for which still are waiting in the wings to avenge the damage that was stored up in the Individual Soldier. That's part of Us and Them, who are used to fight eachother psychosocially and physically for Their world control agenda.

   I think this song has nothing to do with government or anything like that, i like slipknot but as most of you know they are extremely evil and against God. I see the interpretation as slipknot playing/being as demons and when the reign of the Lord comes they know they will be destroyed by God and there is no hope for them..they reference how the soul isnt vibrant and there will be noting left for them in the end once God comes back and how they will act as martyrs of Satan because they will not change and they are fed up with this world and hate is all they have.. the fact they scream the limits of the dead i think definately refers to another realm and beings of darkness..darkness does have power if you let it, and they def have chosen the way of darkness..God is hunting them down and they know it and know they will perish..they are just trying to take more people with them..

    Drugs drugs drugs. I personally did my time and I got out of a very sacrosanct circle of meth users. This song reminds me of the drama created by a jealous meth addict when they are cut out of the group. They start running their mouth about things and make the drama rain and it kills us all. The group has to preserve themselves from the martyr type rage for the individual. And someone decides they're done and everyone else says your not the only one. I could go on with the entire song but you get my view. Idk if that's anywhere close to the real meaning but I picked that out of the lyrics and it got me threw one of the worst times in my life.

    I believe it has to do with them and there music, being illuminati puppets. There music caused a whole generation to idolize demonic things, drug usage and general the destruction of the family design and them being tired of it as well as the multiple other bands who were used in this way.

    This piece represents how corrupt the government is, and how Anti-Illuminati they are. Psychosocial is a piece that has some nice Metal riffs, a bursting Fender solo by Jim, some NICE Vocals by Corey Taylor, Rhythm percussions by Clown and Fehn, Heart stopping drums by Joey, and a upbeat Bass by Paul Gray, I had the chance to witness Slipknot front row in summer of 2012, August 1st. It was amazing, and the drumming made it so I couldn't breathe. Anyways, Psychosocial is one of their best singles, but definitely not the most played by true fans.

    I have been listening to this song for about 4 years now and now once I have decided to go into the USMC I have found real meaning in it. I am not patriot and want others to know that this song can mean a lot but I will give you my representation.
    
    This song is about people joining their respective governments in defense for their country. The first line should be enough for any person who has served.
    
    Look at all the lines as though you were an 18 year old and it all makes sense.

    The line: Pseudo sacrosanct perversion roughly defined is something like an infatuation with keeping up something falsely sacred. I think this is referring to how the government trys to keep up appearances while it goes and messes stuff up. This line makes a lot more sence with "reign" then it did with "rain".
