   It seems to me that watching the music video sheds more light on the meaning of this song than the lyrics alone. My first impression is that Taylor seems very 'thirsty' as she keeps asking for someone to make her a drink. Who is this someone that likes her for who she is? The person she is referring to seems to be the true object of her affection. There is a sign in her video that says, "Joe's Deli" which is likely a reference to her current boyfriend Joe Schmoe. Reading through the lines we can see he is just a piece of meat that she leaves behind on her path to meet her true object of affection. While she seems to have her fair share of male admirers to the point she needs security guards to keep them off...it seems some sort of magician has found a way to speak to her using supernatural methods. Im guessing the contents of the message he sent her showed her how to raise her physical vibration beyond the average limits of human perception. Jedi 101. Why she chooses to perform a series of bad dance moves BEFORE getting drunk at the bar seems to indicate she thinks she's better than the rest of us. Typical Taylor. She keeps asking if it is too soon to do this yet. She seems anxious and ready for this magic man, probably because she feels her biological clock ticking. Apparently it is too soon as of this writing because she is still dating this Joe guy. The real question is what does she plan on doing with her future Romeo. And who is this guy? The end of the video gives no answer to whom the mystery man is, but I am jealous of him already.
