The Starting Line: Bedroom Talk Meaning
Bedroom Talk Lyrics

they hadn't mentioned this at all.

it's about a guy having sex for the first time with a girl he loves after waiting for a long time. It was actaully written before he had sex. It was about him being excited for it, knowing it was going to be with a girl he really loved instead of just a one night stand.

This song is about a guy having a chance to have a one night stand with a girl that he really likes. He wants everything to be perfect and he wants it to be more than just a one night stand, but he knows that it isn't.
I think maybe the line "And the next part is the hardest / To admit and explain but I've got to get it right" might be him having to explain to her that he's a vigin. Either that or he is trying to tell her that he wants more.
