    The opening lyrics of this song are from Allen Ginsberg's poem 'Howl'. As the main theme of this song is repression of thought, this song clearly speaks about censorship, which Allen Ginsberg endured. He was a political activist about the Vietnam War as well as other causes. Ginsberg also said his poem was about his feelings about his schizophrenic mother, so the title of the song may take on an additional meaning there.
