    It's (at least partly) about the conflicts in the Middle East between the Palestinians and the Jews. This is clear in the second verse, where Bono sings "All your daughters of Zion," (Zion is another name for Israel or Jerusalem) and "All your Abraham sons" (Abraham was the father of all the Jews.
