Jamie's Cryin' Lyrics

She saw the look in his eyes
N' she knew better
He wanted her tonight
And it was now or never
He made her feel so sad
Oh, whoa, whoa, Jamie's cryin'
Oh, whoa, whoa, Jamie's cryin' Now Jamie wouldn't stay out late
She knew he'd forget...

She meets some ass wad who is married or with someone else. He is trying to seduce her. She knows for sure this is not a standard one night fling, and she also knows what love is, so she cannot sleep with him!

And it makes her cry all of the time because she hates herself for being attracted to douche-bag males...and she is feeling like a douche too, because she is hot for this man!

She feels emotionally drained by this man because he is just using her as an ego boost for his sexual prowess/sedution. She feels angry and stupid. This is why she is crying. She knows what love is and does not have it.

    Sad, very sad.

I think this song is about the book/ movie "The Face On The Milk Carton". I may be wrong but it's the first thing I thought of when I heard the song.
