I believe the theme of the song is about ultimatum i.e. could be either a break up if he doesnt change his ways or a make up.I love the juxtaposition and ambiguous of it.You can also use this song (or maybe its just me) on other relationship like friendship and other theme such as conformity to the ideal and principal of the mass that is the diametrically opposite to your idiosyncratic views.:-? Hope you understand my point.

This song is about a guy and a girl's relationship. The guy really messed up and the girl's really upset so she's giving him an ultimatum: either get your act together and you can still be with me or we're through.
