Anna Nalick: Forever Love (Digame) Meaning
Forever Love (Digame) Lyrics
With my world
Upside down
I got a vision of your face
And I must get me out
For so many memories we've yet to make
God don't send to me your angels
I just wanna hear you say again
Forever love
Say you'll love
Dígame,...

I believe this song is about a girl (I will refer to her as Anna because that is the singer's name) who is has her life in pieces. When she hits the bottom (metaphorically speaking), she thinks about the man she loves and knows that she has to come out of her depression to enjoy his company again. She wants to be reassured of his everlasting love for her. The whole song is her asking him to tell her that he loves her.
When Anna compares her man to an angel, she is portraying him as her salvation.
As for the word "digame", it means "tell me" in Spanish. -
This song speaks to my thoughts and feelings as I lay very seriously injured after a motorcycle accident a few years ago. To me, the song is asking God to hold off sending His angels for me just long enough for me to hear my love speak to me, so that, if I die, I will know that she loves me.

Digame means tell me...Hence her next words 'tell me so I can hold you..."-alaina

I noticed that a couple of people had asked about what "digame" means in this song, which is exactly what I was also trying to find out. A couple of minutes of google searching revealed that "digame" means "hello" or, literally, "speak to me" in Spanish. On a side note, "digame" is apparently a common way to answer the phone in Spanish. :)
