Big House Lyrics
Or where you call your home
I don't know where you eat your meals
Or where you talk on the phone
I don't know if you got a cook
A butler or a maid
I don't know if you got a yard
With a hammock in...

From childhood to now I aLways thought that song was about Heaven. Think about it. Not all churches are as described in the song. Some are much smaller. Heaven is 1 size fits all.(Big, big hose with lots and lost of room)
The Bible speaks of Heaven being a land flowing with milk and honey (A big, big table with lots and lots of food) With it being heaven, that goes back to covering the lyrics(A big, big yard where we can play football...A big big house, Its may father's house.)
Who knows? Maybe its looked at from both perspectives. -
It's about church! The big house is Church!
