My interpretation on 'Salt' is Ava being in a toxic relationship where she keeps getting put down by her lover. She then realizes that she has no more tears to cry, and that life for her has made her depressed.

'I'm all out of salt' can mean that one is tired of life. There are no more tears left to shred. One is standing back, letting things happen, and not intentionally adding 'flavor' to life.
