    This song is about being fine with being alone. The guy had a girlfriend at one point but now he doesn’t need her or anyone else for that matter. He enjoys spur of the moment activities and doesn’t plan anything out. “Everywhere I go I know that I don’t want to be”. He doesn’t need the drugs or alchohol to feel good. He floats on his low key vibe so he doesn’t care if people give him attention or not.

    Regretting the love you had, staying up (late nights) doing drugs to forget about it. Becoming addicted to the feeling of being lost in “harmony” when in reality your mixing up what’s real and what’s not. Fading away from reality. Getting with multiple people to forget about the love you had. Not knowing what to do, knowing deep down you need help, but you’re already too far gone. Losing everyone who once meant something great to you. Ultimately becoming the antagonist to your own story.

    Just listen to the lyrics. This cat is over all of the social life style. Going places you don’t want to be, dressing up for pics to be posted, expecting “likes”. Kind of having fun but looking back on it knowing it’s just a bullshit way of life. Getting wasted is so glamorized in music and film, it has become so normalized. This guys says fuck that, I’m done. When you separate yourself from that lifestyle, everything becomes clearer and life slows down, motivation comes back, the urge to succeed and be healthy begins to stay in your mind, and it feels great. The ability to deal with bad days becomes an important weapon to ward off depression and anxiety. Just listen to the words man. This guy just became a responsible adult and upstanding good dude, and this song describes that feeling perfectly.
