Quinn the Eskimo Lyrics

Everybody's building
The big ships and the boats
Some are building monuments
Others are jotting down notes

Everybody's in despair
Every girl and boy
But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here
Everybody jump for joy

Come all without, come all...

Quinn the Eskimo is obviously a reference to a drug dealer, when he arrives everybody jumps for joy.

I read somewhere that, at least on the surface, Quinn the eskimo referred to the actor Anthony Quinn in the movie "Nanuk of the North."

The Song made famous by Manfred Man in the 60's is about The coming Messiah and how it will be "... when Quinn the Eskimo gets here everybody's gonna jump for joy"
