    In the song BORNS describes how he is stuck in a questionable relationship and shows signs of the girl he is with not being faithful. He then proceeds to leave her and eventually after about a year reminisces on their past and tries to get back together with her. The song then changes to the girls perspective which can be seen in the music video and shows her then rejecting his attempt at getting back together. These ideas can definitely be interpreted more in the music video
