Brooks & Dunn: Neon Moon Meaning
Song Released: 1992
Neon Moon Lyrics
On my side of town
And that lonesome feeling
Comes to my door
The whole world turns
Blue
There's a rundown bar
Across the railroad track
I gotta table for two
Way in the back
Where I sit alone
Think of losing...

#1 top rated interpretation:This poor guy who lost the love of his life spends almost every night beneath the light of a "neon moon" meaning the neon beer brand signs that we usually sees at the bars... So he means he goes to the same 'ol bar every night to get drunk hoping to ease the pain of losing his soul mate :(
Ad the jukebox plays on, every song reminds him of her and sometimes he can even see her in the bar coming back to him but its just his inagination. Anyway he holds on to his hope and keeps telling himself she would be back someday. Very sad indeed :( been there, done that... Not good. -
Great song, i request it whenever i go see a band and they ask if you want to hear a certain song
and if they know it they'll sing it!
I sing it all the time! -
When the moon is full and the midnight sky is cold black it will glow a luminescent blue. Giving off a feeling of deep or forgotten emotions. Under the Moon there always room for the lonely. We have all been there done that. We all have lost someone so significant to us. Usually at night is when the heart breaks down. Dancing in and out of the beams of Neon Moon.

When you lose your significant other for whatever reason and you miss them so much in the moment but you know it is better to be without each other. So when this song plays you think of them and all the memories and dreams you had with them roll in but then you realize that it's too late. Such a sad song but I love to sign to it OUT LOUD!!

Guy loses his gal, because shes a no-good werewolf cheater, so after she walks out of his life, he recalls the moment she went wild, ie turned into a werewolf, and kicked him to the door, and is reconciled by losing himself to drink.

The song is rumored to be about a bar in Ruston, Louisiana the home of LA Tech where Brooks went to school and played football.
