Bulow: Sweet Little Lies Meaning
Song Released: 2019
Sweet Little Lies Lyrics
All about the dark places you hide
Tell me all your problems, make them mine
Tell me all your sweet, sweet little lies
I live a picture in my head
Colors soaring as I float above my body in my bed...

The person Bulow is singing about in this song is asking their loved one to tell them all their secrets and problems, so they can better protect said loved one. The person in this song is trying to protect tbeir loved one from the evil outside world, and is imagining a perfect safe place only big enough for the two of them. The person if this song thinks that if both of them do exactly as they should, nothing will ever come between the main character and their loved one, because they would rather die than say goodbye.

Bülow is unlucky in Love ,because her crush doesn't like her back ,but treats her like he would. So she imagines that they would be a couple in her head, but in real life she knows that they aren't. So she wants him to lie to his feelings and act like he would love her, which is much better to her than realizing he doesn't love her. So she is lying to herself and wants to live in her own world ,much better than facing the reality.

Every night bülow dreams of this boy. This dream boy is much better than her actual boyfriend. Every night she falls asleep in hopes to see her dream boyfriend. Her actual boyfriend never cared for her like this boy in her dreams. She would much rather be with this dream boy than her actual boyfriend, but since he is in her dreams she can’t do that. When she falls asleep they have more adventures and moments than anyone in real life. Sadly, every morning she has to wake up, so she can’t be with him all the time.
