Cascada: Bad Boy Meaning
Bad Boy Lyrics
Remember the day
My stone heart was breaking
My love ran away
This moment I knew I would be someone else
My love turned around and I fell
be my bad boy
be my man
be my weekend lover
but don't be my friend...
-
The song is about a girl is taking revenge in her ex boyfriend.
-
I think the song is talking about how a girl got hurt by the love of her life(maybe he cheated on her or dumped her), but she became consumed by revenge and decided to play with her ex like a toy, like how he did to her. Pretty much, he thought she wasn't good enough, but after he saw her change, the roles switched; the girl got the upper hand. He kinda wanted her back, and she played along - she planned to hurt HIM in the end.
-
I think the girl in this song wants to be guys girlfriend however, this guy broke up with her. Until now, she also wants to go back with him while knowing it won't happen. And she just wanted to tell that he could be her bad boy, but understand that she doesn't need him in life again.

This is totally how me and my ex were for a long time. He and I are friends now, but for a long time we would still hook up but other than that not talk at all. kinda like the chorus of this song. The opening of the song is how I was when we first broke up, I was remembering everything, and he always told me I had a heart of stone, and he broke my heart...when she says "You once made this promise to be by my side, but after some time you just pushed me aside, you never thought that a girl could be strong, now ill show you how to go on" is how it was, we were together for 3 years, then he broke up with me, three moths after us getting engaged. Then when we broke up, I told him we wouldn't get back together, but we were still hooking up, then I met my current boyfriend and moved on with my life....and guess what, my ex tried to get me back that asshole
