    I think this is about a girl who went out drinking and ended up going home with a man. She woke up and couldn’t believe what she’d done, so she went to tell her boyfriend and admit it to him, but she couldn’t bring herself to.

    this song seems to be about a girl who is cheating on her guy and that she feels bad about it because he's a good man. She can't help cheating because she's perhaps a drug addict or alcoholic or simply because her guy can't please her the way other guys can.
