Chase & Status: Time Meaning
Time Lyrics
To give your love to me
I will wait for you
If that's all you need
If you can find the time
If ever you're free
Just draw me a line
And tell me where you'll be
I'll be right here
If you can find the time
Just be...

I see this woman, a broken woman, falling for this man who is dedicating herself to him although the man isn't sure of what he wants. He has so many issues of his own and he see's this woman as an easy option to take away his pain and has a lot of frustration, hurt but most of all anger and doesn't realise that he takes it out on this woman he supposedly loves. This man is showing that he is right here for her, as she is to be sincere. They are both on different scales with their love.
-
i think it about a wife and husband and the wife says if he cant find the time to love her and not hurt her but when the daughter calls the police she is free of his abuse but she still loves him and when he is free she wait for him.
-
Watch the music video, it's not about a girl who's waiting for some guy (although it's also the first thing that came to my mind when I heard it)
-
I think it is about two friends, the girl has strong feelings for the guy, but it isn't as strong from the guy. He has relationships with other people and deep down he has similar feelings as the woman but doesn't necessarily admit it. Occasionally it shows through and the girl thinks she has got through, only for the guy to pull back. So she has deep rooted feelings for the guy, and will always be there as a friend for him although she wants more. And she wants him to know that one day, that day when he is down and has no-one to turn to, she will be there, always there. But because he is up and down, maybe doesn't know what he wants, it frustrates the hell out of her. And there is only so long that she can wait for his love, because it's suffocating her. She is probably the best thing that's happened to him, and he doesn't realise it, and it's killling her.
Also, swap the genders, interchange she and he and I think it makes even more sense -
I think the husband has borderline issues.
-
It's about a girl who loves a guy and she just wants his love and it's driving her crazy and she don't know how long she can continue feeling this way .she is feeling very frustrated as she said she can wait but not sure how long
-
She waiting in this guy , who is just not giving her his love
-
What does the music video actually have to do with the song though?
-
i think its about a husband and wife, and the husband is beating her and her daughter can take it anymore and rings the police. they visit the husband in jail and after all that has happened she is still in love with him. the daughter moves out.
-
I think the girl likes/is in love with a guy who's being a bit of a douchebag to her, or a player maybe, and she's saying if he can find the time to actually make an effort with her and give his love to her, when he's not too busy (maybe out with other girls), she's happy to wait for him, as long as he's genuine and sincere. And she'll be there waiting, even though it's killing her inside
