Clean Bandit: Dust Clears Meaning
Song Released: 2013
Dust Clears Lyrics
That you thought you shared wasn't really there.
It was made up in your mind,
Could be anyone, anywhere,
'Cause you'd been living in a world of your own design, undermined,
In another place, other space in time.
As...

It actually is a very deep video. The geometric shapes on the plates are sacred symbols. Has a lot to do with the spiritual connections. the skating Hebrews have full understanding of these geometric shapes and the connections we have to the higher powers. You have to expand your conciouse to have a understanding

I think it's just about thinking that what u see and think of the world, may not be there forever / Or not be the way it used 2 be. Move on, that's the word. The world will not stand still, and when u find out that the person u liked wasnt a real friend, it will be hard 2 start over again. in the start, the guy tells us ''If u just could make up your own world'' then u will know what person u like and really likes u. but, it's not that easy.

I honestly think it's about a troubled relationship. In my point of view, the guy was expecting his girlfriend to meet him somewhere for a date, and in his time of need she meant so much to him that when she didn't respond, let alone show up, he started wondering if he was deceiving himself, or that everything he thought they had was nothing.
The girl, probably hurt by something he's done in the past, is trying to tell him to 'get real' and 'realize' what he's thinking isn't whats really happening, and that if he continues to dwell on that thought the 'situation is going nowhere', and that she would've callen, been there, and given him it all if she wasn't hurting too.
If you watched the music video, judging by the end I think their relationship ended and they went their seperate ways. I'm not sure if this is the actual meaning, but this is my opinion. -
I think it's about waking up from how you thought something was and coming to realise that everything is not how it used to be.
The "dust clears" and you're basically seeing the truth and not the illusion you used to see. It's hard because you need to adapt to this new light and situation.
Then the girl part, I think it's from the point of view of someone who was close to the guy and wants to help him adapt. But he pushed her away before and now she's been hurt by him so much that even though she wants to help him, she can't.
