My interpretation of this song is feeling like you’ve gone through all the hardships and you’ve dealt with all the pain but youre still not good enough. The lyrics “They say pressure makes diamonds, how the hell am i still coal” leads me to believe that he feels like hes done every thing but still no one wants him or believes in him
