Flo Rida: I Cry Meaning
Song Released: 2012
I Cry Lyrics
Caught up in the middle
I cry, just a little
When I think of letting go
Oh no
Gave up on the riddle
I cry, just a little
When I think of letting go
[Flo Rida]
I know you wanna get behind the wheel Only 1 Rida
Eyes shut still...

1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:It's about his past and how he was and how he reflects upon it now with the aspects of family, love and life. His life was sad, and he had to rise from the bottom to be who he is. He feels sorrow and pain for the people around the world who struggled in life everyday, like he did, and therefore he references the Norway Massacre, The Japan Earthquake/tsunami in 2011 and in the clip 9/11, but theres much more as well.

The "I know caught up in the middle" refers to triangle drama of a person's relationship life. The main character who gets caught can no longer maintain all the relationships alive because the other people become aware of one another in the triangle.
The "I cry, just a little when I think of letting go" means being upset of letting on some or all the persons in the triangle and so ending life chapter with them.
The "Oh no gave up on the riddle" means the simultaneous relief of no longer having to keep up relationships with the other people, which is exhausting, and sadness of letting go.
The "know you wanna get behind the wheel, but only one Rida eyes shut, still got me swimming like a diver" means that some or all had developed feelings for the main character. While they all want to be the driver, only a monogamous relationship is the option for the main character.
The "can't let go, I got fans in Okinawa my heart to Japan, quake losers and survivors" means the struggle of letting go and choosing the One.
The rest of the song is about the history the main character shared with the other persons.

I think maybe when he talks about his sister and he says"No way you didn't get no flowers,no way to say it but the killer was a coward"she or somebody else he knew might have gotten murdered.
-
I think that, even though these kind of songs have practically infinite meanings, this song especially talks about a few certain things. It speaks about Flo Rida's sister at one point, it does speak about all his life, but most importantly it speaks about corruption, pretence and charity. I think I read somewhere that he wrote this one himself? Anyway, well he does say that he feels bad about having the 250000$ necklass, the videoclip does show him helping out people and he talks about that at the beginning. "Letting go" and "I was destined" actually are related; letting go can mean losing the fire, losing the inner motivation to keep going. He sees all destruction and loses hope, that's why he cries. But, he was destined to something, that's very important. Because he can actually do something. About anything. He can make the world better. That's a pretty heavy load to carry. Aaaanyway

sadness!!
-
suicide, He Talks about letting go, and when he fells that way he looks up to god for strength, and then he feels better and the feelings to end his life are gone.
If you watch the Video you get another meaning about life in the gags\project's. -
i think it was when he treated someone bad and now he feels bad for it.
-
Breakup maybe?
-
he was in a bad country and wants to go back and help the people that are in his past pain. and he thinks of giving up when he is almost out.
-
he feels so much emotion.. about where he has come from and where he is now.. that when the "flood" of emotion arises, he does not want to let go those memories, bc they are still with him.. and he relates it to what he has done with the negative to turn it around to become a positive influence to others who could use some help too.
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
I think that its about when he was a young boy he had a rough time. Like he was poor and/or his family died or something. So when he thinks about that, he "cries just a little" because he feels bad for people who are struggling.
-
It's about his sister who died that meant a lot to him. He was trying to solve the riddle to figure out who murdered her. He crys just a little because he misses her.
-
It's about a girl or his country and how he got out of that country but he still remembers the pain. :'|
-
Because of when he was young he lived in a poor country and he wants to help people in that contry and he just crys because that was him.......
