Funeral For A Friend: Juneau Meaning
Song Released: 2003
Juneau Lyrics
Left to the sight of the sky, in your arms I'm defined
Thrown to the wolves in the minds of your enemies,
in the minds of your enemies
And I'm stone in the eyes of your...

This was the second song that Funeral For A Friend wrote as a band. It's about a relationship that Matt Davis had in which someone cheated on him.
The song is named after the capital city of Alaska, because "it's a cold, harsh, unforgiving country."
On Funeral For A Friend's first EP the song was spelled "Juno." The Juno version of the song is more raw and less polished than the Juneau album version of the song. (thanks, Mark - Bristol, England, for all above) -

"Tied to the test ing of wills" This could mean what him and his girlfriend can and can't do for each other. "where my heart breaks and spills"maby he sees a new side of his girlfriend. "Thrown to the wolfs in the minds of you enemies" could mean that she is dead to them. "And I'm nothing more than a line in your book"he means nothing to her "insignifigent".

ok you crzy crazy freak.wtf????? there are NO cannibals in this song!!!! none. what so ever. I agree about him being insiginificant(just another line in your book)
being thrown to the wolves is already an offical metaphor you are metaphorically being thrown to these ravenous creatures that...yes, want to tear you to shreds. with the aditional 'in the minds of your enemies' is aying that these people that hate you have "thrown you to the wolves" but not everyone has given you this fate yet. does that make any sense?? I don't think I explained it well!
now from the top...
'Tied to the testing of wills, where my heart breaks and spills'-self-control and will-power. He's being tested to see how much of this he has. He tries so hard untill he can't take anymore. metaphorally his heart breaks and spills all over the floor.
i just wanna say incase you forget, didn't notice or can't remember after reading all my crap that there's NO
CANNIBALISM IN THIS SONG!!!!!!! -
