I think the song is about not taking chances, risks, and venturing out. Just simply letting your life pass you by because your afraid to take chance with life itself. But, it could mean something else entirely. I am still having trouble figuring out what the title means. "Waiting Outside the Lines" It's all very complex, especially when your taking a English 1302 class. We're writing, reading, and listening about poetry. And now we have to turn a song that we like to listen to so much into a poem. You already know what that means, so I'm just going to ended with that.
