Hot Chelle Rae: Honestly Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Honestly Lyrics
Honestly, I think you've lost your mind
I can't believe I came home to find my car keyed
Honestly I'm way too tired to fight
Round and round drama every time
Ima go 'cause I got no
Problem...

This song is about not letting anyone control your life or relationship in this instance. If they decide to leave then just let them leave even if deep down you want dont want them to though you are tired of their whining, etc. In the video, the lead singer is tired of his girlfriends bullshit coz she over dramatising everything. So, she gets another guy o come with her to the party to make him "jealous" like he made her jealous by hanging out with other girls. In the end he dumps her coz she is trying to controlhis life so he just let her leave.

I love dis song! Talking about his gf being naïve and dramatic all the time. Either he should let her go or stay. The choice is yours, you decide. He wants her to stay in their relationship, but is tired of the bullshit everyday.

The meaning of this song is that if someone's trying to control your life then you shouldn't be afraid to let that person go if they decide to leave, even though you know deep down inside you should be depressed about the situation and that you should be begging them to stay.

I think it can mean anyone you want it to like for instance with me I think of my parents when I hear this song.

If a girl is not good to you, and she is causing troubles that you should just let her go, but in the video it's the singer (main character) that is bad to the girl, and then dumps her? so I don't get a positive message from the video, idk if I explained myself right.
