Black Widow Lyrics
[Hook — Rita Ora:]
I'm gonna love ya
Until you hate me
And I'm gonna show ya
What's really crazy
You should've known better
Than to mess with me, honey
I'm gonna love ya, I'm gonna love ya
Gonna love ya, gonna love ya
Like a black...

#1 top rated interpretation:This song is about a woman who believed all the sweet things that a man told her. "I love you, I'm different than other giys, you're all I want baby...." etc. Then when she starts believing them and opening up he flips and it was all an act. He played her and hurt her.
Now she is going to play him at his same game. She is gonna trick him into actuallh falling in love with her and when he does she is gonna walk away effectively destroying him. -

#2 top rated interpretation:I don't understand how people are interpreting this relationship as an abusive one. It just sounds like he made promises, said he was in love, made her fall in love with him. Then he became bored and dropped her. Now bc she is hurting, she is going to really get him to fall for her, then she's gonna drop him. And that's why she is crazy. Because of the lengths she is willing to go to fuck his world up like he did hers.

#3 top rated interpretation:I think it's about that type of guy that chases a girl, woos her and gives her all that sh*tty sweet talk until she stars to have feelings for him and he gets bored and moves onto the next one: "we both down to play then somehow you go astray".
And she feels "stupid" for believing it and caring about him when he was just playing a game ("this is the web, web that you weave") so she wants revenge.
Her revenge is to play him at his own game ("I'm gonna love you until it hurts") and make him fall for her, make him be wanting her and then she's just going to drop him.
That's my interpretation on it. I hope it's right cos it's chick-ballsy! -
This is 100% about narcassistic abuse. Killing him with his own game is the best revenge.

This song is abt a guy who cheated on his woman and treated him after he made her fall for him. Now the lady is hurting and seeking vegeance so shes gonna either love the guy and do stupid things to him mayb that will make a guy hate him or hes gonn get him back just to play his heart like its a game.

This song seems to be about a relationship that once might have been but one person strayed away and either went with someone else and possibly even got married..if you pay attention to lyrics, it says "this is a fatal attraction" just like in the movie fatal attraction where one person was married and the other got obsessed. So the other person is upset that the other one left them and got married so now they are doing everything to set the trap and be everywhere the other one is in hopes that the would start feeling the old flame and fall back for them..."just to get you, I am doing what ever it takes". This says it all. So the other person is doing what ever they think would work to get the one that left them, and they probably just want to have their way with him/her and make them beg and pay.

All of these are correct, but whoslaughingnow is the best.$@r@h

I interpreted this song to be about the desire for vengeance over relationship abuse. Given the lyrics, the vengeance seems to be psychological, stringing the abusive partner on into a snare where he is most vulnerable, and then betraying him to achieve the highest possible level of damage.

What i think this song is about how this girl is in a abusive relationship and this man is just using her and once he gets what he wants he is satisfied. Then she gets angry and wants to get from him and does the same thing he does to her and does it right back because she wants get back at him for using her when she fell in love with him.
-
I'm gonna love ya like a black widow.
It means:
I'm gonna kill you. -
She was in an abusive relationship and she got free from it. Later on she kills him like a black widow baby.
-
Everytime I hear this tune, cant help to associate it with the Jody arias and Travis Alexander case...
-
Two people date, then later the lady finds out that her husband was using her, then she plans for revenge.
-
It is obviously about a couple who were once happy in the woman's oppinion but the man was probably just faking so he could abuse her then apologize and then do the same thing. Now, the man probably met another woman behind the woman's back. Now the woman wants to do all the things he did to her like abusing him and cheating on him. Black widows usually kill their mates. Now she's doing what I would do and kill the piece of crap
-
It is about how she is done with all the boys nonsense (cheating ens) now shes gonna love him like a black widow (they kill their mates).
-
This song is about a man who cheated on his girlfriend/flirts with other girls. She's done with him.
-
This song makes no sense if she's going to love him like a black widow, then why is she talking about just to get you I'm doing what ever works. Sounds like she's going to try to get him back and give it to him real good, like never before. Its a stupid song that sounds good but makes absolutely no sense. Thats no way to get your revenge on a man after he's cheated on you and moved on.

Means that the typical guy chases a woman... let's her know he wants her, romances her, tells her what she wants to hear. Has sex with her for a while and acts like he loves her, but then gets bored. She's mad for letting herself love him. So she is going to get revenge. Most men are very effective at seperates sex from feelings and women are not. Usually in this situation, the girl acts not interested and will put extra care in her appearance. Once he realizes she doesn't want him and can have pretty much any other man, he will want her back and she can use this to her advantage, men just don't like women that are too into them, I guess they would rather be treated like cap and be cheated on.
