    i think its about life in general.. the artist mean "you" are actually the "fate".. the life his going through to achive happiness or love of his or her for a life time.. the struggle.. the bittersweet of it.. the detail of it in metaforic of its.. so beautiful.. sad and pure love..

    A sad love story

    The opening lines establish the unrequited nature of the singer's affection - "I tried to reach you, I can't hide, how strong's the feeling when we dive." Even though the singer deeply desires this person, their feelings are not reciprocated.

    When the singer says "I crossed the ocean of my mind," it implies overcoming great obstacles and distances in pursuit of this beloved. The ocean represents the depths of the singer's emotions and thoughts devoted to their unrequited love.

    The next lines introduce pain and suffering into the equation - "My wounds are healing with the salt, all my senses intensified." The salt water of the ocean stings the singer's wounds, rather than healing them. This implies that thoughts of the beloved do not alleviate the pain of unrequited love, but intensify it.

    The chorus suggests the beloved actively torments the singer - "You push me down down." The beloved goes beyond just not reciprocating, and seems to deliberately harm the singer by rejecting their affection.

    It’s spiritual. It’s about someone who is awaken and someone who is not. It’s about healing and trying to heal . The one who is healing loves, but the one she loves isn’t healed. Keeps going back and forth, but she will give in because she loves even though she hurts. Shaming herself, knowing things wouldn’t change but will still love him regardless.

    The song is on the perspective of a girl loving and giving all her heart, mind and soul to her lover, but to her detection, he never feel the same for her. Especially when having something together( intercourse) she feels him to the extreme but never have such in return. The tilte "can we kiss forever?" has already explained the lyrics. She wants to be with him as much as possible but only getting the opposite.

    This song is about someone who has given her heart to another, but that person doesn't love them the same.
    You can imagine from the lyrics, they are still in the relationship during this song
    "can we kiss forever" implies they are kissing
    I very vividly interpret as these two are together in a relationship, but the other is distant, not retuning love, not returning the feelings.

    "in the end I drown, you push me down down"
    She is rejected emotionally by him

    "all the shame
    when you called my name
    I felt pain
    When you came"
    They are having intercourse, but she can feel that he doesn't love her.
    That is why all the shame exists. She is still giving herself fully, physically, emotionally, spiritually, yet she can FEEL as they are having intercourse that the love she feels for him is not returned. "I felt pain when you came"
    It symbolizes a sort of emotional end to the relationship

    that's why the title is "can we kiss forever"
    they are having intercourse
    to her, it is love, she wants him to love her back the same
    to him, it is just physical intercouse.

    The title says it all imo❤

    Because I was born with a high frequency hearing loss this particular lifetime ~ I 'heard' & loved this incredible song many, many times w/o actually hearing ALL the so interesting lyrics. So my interpretations is certainly different than most of those here & there mostly because - lol - Soul is neither male, nor female as we go about our current daily physical life figuring out our confusing emotions in EVERY which way even after an orgasm with our beloved - whether by maturbation &/or actualy physical sex or just perhaps a 'wet' dream.

    So having written all that above, I would suggest on astral level & probably mental level, too...this relationship is FAR from over for the BOTH of participants until the karma between them is EVENTUALLY done...no matter how many lifetimes it may take.

    Hence the return of BOTH souls in a mother & child relationship could occur. Or perhaps as siblings, too...Whatever it takes for Soul to eventually learn life is ULTIMATELY ALL about giving & receiving love.

    It talks about a “tacky” relationship. She’s having a good time at 1st but she then “gets healed with salt” which can mean when she’s upset her partner can become inconsiderate and she has to put herself up and not show pain, it then gets better and they continue normally. But every time she gets upset he “pushes her drown” and makes her “drown”. It’s basically a one sided relationship.

    I think it depicts a one-sided relationship where she strives and tries to make things work between them, but it feels like she's fighting alone, the guy isn't helping them cross that bridge.

    This in turn eats her up. She looses herself while trying to fix them.

    i feel like it means that she saw him and he put her back togather and then she realized thy started drifting apart and he pushed her down in as kinda like ghosting her or as in saying hurtful things.

    When your in a relationship your like going through something but you really don't speak about it at all and whenever your trying to reach out for people they don't listen at all

    The other half of the couple like rejected the other in the first verse that like the guy did something wrong and felt pain when the girl keep on blaming the guy and also the guy feels embarrassed..
