LCD Soundsystem: All My Friends Meaning
All My Friends Lyrics
We go back to your house
We check the charts
And start to figure it out
And if it's crowded, all the better
Because we know we're gonna be up late
But if you're worried about the weather
Then you picked the wrong place to...

My interpretation is that this song is about being nostalgic about how you used to hang out with your friends a lot, but you don't anymore. Clearly if you listen to the song he is reminiscing about his memories of his old friends, whom he doesn't see as often as he used to see them. It seems to me that his group of friends were very close but they grew apart as they grew older. It's not that they stopped liking each other, it's that as they grew older they had to enter the "real world" so it is a lot harder for them to hang out like they used to. It seems to me that he also feels like it would be impossible or difficult for his group of friends to chill like they used to, because they all have changed. I think this song also has to do with youth and innocence, how him and his friends have lost them due to growing older. He also mentions how him and his friends made some stupid decisions, but he doesn't regret them because he cherishes those memories in his heart, so he wouldn't trade them for anything.
