Lemonade Mouth: More than a Band Meaning
More than a Band Lyrics
To know how you feel
But know that I'm here
Know that I'm real
Say what you want
Or don't talk at all
I'm not gonna let you fall
Reach for my hand
'Cause it's held out for you
My shoulders are small
But you can cry...
-
They are pretty much saying that a true friend is always going to reach a hand out to help you whenever your in trouble, no matter how hard it might be. They want you to relize that you deserve more than you have now, and they want you to relize that its time to change how you think that is now.
-
I believe the lyrics are translating to how true friend have your back and will never let you down. I personally had this moment a couple times. Friends are like family. They will never throw you under the bus and they are with you through thick and thin
-
They literally mean that they're more than a band. They just don't make music together, they are all true friends. They are all gonna help each other through hard times and they'll always stick together. :)
-
This isn't an interpretation (I think the song meaning is pretty clear; it means always being there for and supportive of someone), but for some reason the only time they say "My shoulders are small" is the first time, and for the rest of the song they say, "My shoulders are strong." I'm not sure why; anyone care to interpret that? :P

Its about your friends having your back when your down. they want you to know that you can always count on them when life gets hard.
