    It's a song about a young woman at a party who's not there to meet anyone, and isn't trying to start something with this man... but she's willing to reconsider. So, she "just came to say hello", with no expectations, but is leaving the door open to be "convinced" that maybe they could say more than "hello" to each other.

    A boy likes a girl but she doesnt like him back. She's telling him how there just friends and nothing more.

    I think this song is when a guy likes a girl, but the girl doesn't like him back. The girl is trying to explain she just wants to be friends.

    To be honest everyone will have a slightly different interpretation. But mine is that the song is about a boy liking a girl..and the girl seemingly doesn't like him,but is slowly beginning to submiss to his flirting etc.
