    I think that it's about starting out innocent growing up and than drifting down a drug intoxicated path without the others that grew up with you for a while, than when you come back and see them again, they see that you are obviously different and messed up, so you act differently and look different and now you are held at a lower stature so they treat you different than they used to, and even tho you may have known them forever they act like they don't know you at all.
