Atlas, Rise! Lyrics

Bitterness and burden
Curses rest on thee
Solitaire and sorrow
All eternity
Save the Earth and claim perfection
Deem the mass and blame rejection
Hold the pose, fein perception
Grudges break your back
All you bear
All you carry
All you...

    Sure, here is the translation:

In my opinion, James is singing about the last moments of Jesus on his way to the crucifixion, making a comparison with the titan Atlas. As an act of painful redemption and salvation, he expresses in great detail the pain, anguish, and sense of loneliness of Jesus in his final moments. All of this can be reflected in the phrase “all you bear, all you carry, place it right on me,” the same phrase taught in Christianity about placing one's problems on God.

The title may say "Atlas".... but the reading between the lines suggest he is referring to those who reject who Jesus is and what Jesus came to do as the savior, and choose to bear and therefore deserve the punishment on their own backs.

Here refers to those people: -

"Save the Earth and claim perfection
Deem the mass and blame rejection
    Hold the pose, reign perception
    Grudges break your back"

    And this as well -

    "Masquerade as maker
    Heavy is the crown
    Beaten down and broken
    Drama wears you down...
Hit the ground and heaven crumbles
All alone, the fear shall humble
    Swallow all your pride"

Those who decide to wear the crown, instead of recognising the true crown only belongs to the king and savoir will be "worn down by the devil" and perish, "not seeing eternity".

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

It is about the greek titan Atlas who was forced to hold up the world as in the greek stories the lines "How does it feel on your own, bound by the world all alone. Crushed under heavy skies Atlas rise!' and other verses prove that it is about the story

Atlas is the name of an Air Force ICBM nuclear tipped missile from the 1960's. It itself was pretty badass of an engineering marvel during the height of space race. Atlas rise refers to an Atlas missile launch. Crushed by the heavy skies refers to unknown doom ahead or of the many launch failures. Perhaps one could interpret it as the unknown journey in life pending failure. I think the lyrics do the old missile justice. Thank God we never had to launch any at Russia.

I think this is about doing something important, but not being recognized for it, and resenting others for that-

"Save the Earth and claim perfection
Deem the mass and blame rejection
    Hold the pose, reign perception
    Grudges break your back"

and finally getting recognition, but finding it's not what you wanted-

    "Masquerade as maker
    Heavy is the crown
    Beaten down and broken
    Drama wears you down

    Overload, the martyr stumbles
Hit the ground and heaven crumbles
All alone, the fear shall humble
    Swallow all your pride"
