When I first heard the album I thought it was about a girl then I gave up alcohol it dawned on me to be about James alcohol problem. Of course the first line in the song was the reference to the radio thing.

This song is about one of three things
1. a girl named amber
2. Alcohol, beer has an amber colour
3. The opening line for the song "wash your back so you won't stab mine" is an alternated line James said. He originally made a statement about this radio station saying "Scratch your back so you won't stab mine."
