Metanoia Lyrics
It can teach you
And reprogram you
It can show you the flood
That's trapped inside
This one's alive
The tail is breathing
And she's listening
Kill the serpent
Divide, disperse and grow
Into an oak
A silver lining on...

if you look up the definition of metanoia its simply a mental breakdown. This term was coined by Carl Jung, the mystic referee they refer to.at the beginning of the song they say it can teach you and reprogram you, this is because according to Carl Jung the mental breakdown "metanoia" is your brain basically rebooting itself and finding alternative routes to answers of whatever question or situation that caused the metanoia in the first place. so in the end this song is about going crazy :)
