Oliver Tree: Alien Boy Meaning
Alien Boy Lyrics
And somehow I still make it work
But it's overrated and somehow played out
Three doors down so you can't ignore it
I'll hunt you down like a tyrannosaurus
My teeth are sharp like the great white...

This song is supposed to be about the guy with schizophrenia who got killed by Portland police. The "alien" who doesn't fit in is how the schizophrenic feels and how others see him. When he says he's out there alone, he means he feels alone and is not getting the help he needs.

this song is about aliens or diff species. as the song says ( I fell down to earth from 100 miles away and somehow I still make it work and it's overrated and somehow played out) Also he describes the alien. This is about an alien feeling like he's out of the ordinary and strange and not like the rest like everyone thinks of him being bad. So this song is saying I'm like an alien. He thinks he's a misfit people always are judging. The song is just all about him feeling like he's out of the ordinary. thats why his new single out of ordinary may have a connection with alien buy. He feels like a misfit.

I believe this is about him feeling far away and different than someone he wants to be in a relationship/ be friend with someone.
