Parkway Drive: Pandora Meaning
Pandora Lyrics
The empty streets echo our past and the days that were once so beautiful (So beautiful!)
Before now!
Before us!
So save yourself
Cause our dreams are gone
And all hope has faded
And as the sunlight fails, I watch...
-
From what I gather, this song is a recollection of a time in Winston's life when things were much more simple. As he has matured, he has seen the darker sides of humanity and just how low some people will sink so that they can benefit themselves (which in the long run is pointless seeing as we all have an expiration date so why would we not try to aid our fellow human being in their struggles throughout life rather than screw them over to make a quick buck?)
In regards to the lyrics "Your face lies still
I cant see your breath and its freezing my blood until the end" he may be talking about either an actual scenario where someone he knew died or in my opinion, more likely, he is personifying humanity and saying that it gives him chills to see where our species is headed.
