    If diamonds are a girls best friend, couldn't it make sense that Simon feels like she's walking all over him? Using him perhaps? It's my understanding that Paul Simon is pretty good with metaphors.

    In past times, before more sophisticated detectors were used, diamonds were smuggled out of the diamond mines in South Africa by inserting diamonds in the heels and soles of shoes.
