   They cheated on each other with one another and realized they were perfect for each other. They found out about each other’s adventurous sides and could’ve easily found out about this earlier if they just talked.

   Everyone of you explained the gist of the song, now here is my interpretation.
   
   Both of these people went to that bar with the intent to CHEAT on their Significant Other (SO) with someone else. That they can laugh it off is completely unrealistic. It doesn't matter that they caught each other in the act, it was still cheating. A better ending (or how it would end IRL) would be they had one last drink together then split up.

   I feel that this is so meaningful. I do not think that it is his wife but his live in girlfriend. Sometimes you find that what you have is more than what you realize.

   We often don't openly communicate with our significant other our deepest thoughts. The wife was bored. but didn't share her feelings. Who knows she may have tried,but he wasn't listening. She placed her thoughts in the ad. He read what he had been thinking and knew right away he had to meet this person. If they had been communicating all along, they would have known each other was bored and worked together to resolve it.

   He got bored of his wife. While his wife is sleeping he read the paper and an ad caught him a lady who has the same interest as him, so he contacted the woman to go to a bar. When the lady went to the bar he saw that it was his wife.

   Sooo it sounds as if there's this couple, and the man is tired of his women cause they do the same thing. In other words, he was bored. So one night in bed when his lady is asleep he picks up the paper and reads it. There's an ad that appeals to him, that someone else wrote stating what they enjoy. He wrote back that he likes these things too and states where they will escape. He's there at the place. And his lady walks in. He tells her that he never knew, that she enjoyed these things, so it turns out they were suppose to be together and they were actually perfect for each other!!!(;
